The Wolfpack reached their goal of the Class B State Championship on June 1st at Toyota Park in Bridgeview but fell short in the finals by a score of 14 - 7. Trailing 5 - 1 at halftime, the Wolfpack, lead by Chris Rubey and Joe Kent, stormed back to take the lead 7 - 6 early in the 4th quarter only to fall short with a flurry of man-up goals by the Redwings of Benet. With only five seniors graduating in 2008 the Wolfpack look to reload in 2009 with an even more successful season.
